- processing payments and preventing fraud,
- handling customer support requests,
- improving the website, products, assessments, and user experience,
- measuring traffic, conversion, and campaign performance,
- complying with legal obligations,

1.5 Legal bases under GDPR

- Legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, including fraud prevention, service security, internal analytics where permitted, operational continuity, and business improvement, provided such interests are not overridden by the data subject's rights and freedoms.
If special-category personal data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR is processed, Atlas Insights will rely on an appropriate Article 9 condition, which may include explicit consent from the user where legally required.
1.6 Cookies, analytics, pixels, and similar technologies
Atlas Insights may use cookies, SDKs, local storage, tags, pixels, session replay tools, analytics tools, and similar tracking technologies, including services such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools, if and when enabled. These tools may be used to understand traffic, measure ad performance, improve the service, prevent fraud, and support remarketing or conversion tracking.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will only be used after the user has provided valid consent. Essential technologies may be used without prior consent where legally permitted for site functionality, security, fraud prevention, and transaction completion.
1.7 Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe or a successor payment processor. Atlas Insights does not store full payment-card details. Payment-related personal data may be processed by Stripe for payment processing, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and transaction security in accordance with Stripe's own privacy terms.

Because the service is offered globally and may use international service providers, personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required, Atlas Insights will seek to use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Personal data may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Transaction and accounting data may be retained for longer periods where required by tax, bookkeeping, or commercial-law obligations.
